Frequently Asked Questions
Clear, factual answers to help international brands, startup founders, and sourcing managers navigate the custom garment manufacturing process.
Manufacturing Questions and Detailed Answers
What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ depends on the specific garment structure and
whether custom yarn milling/dyeing is required. For growing
labels and new collection launches, we provide flexible low MOQ
production tiers starting from 50 to 100 units per
style/colorway across standard size curves. Contact our desk
with your tech pack for exact quantity evaluations.
Do you manufacture completely custom designs from tech packs or sketches?
Yes. We are an industrial OEM/ODM facility. You can provide
comprehensive digital tech packs (PDF/AI), vector sketches, or
send physical garment references. Our pattern engineering team
will draft, grade, and construct custom CAD patterns tailored to
your exact sizing specifications.
Do you provide physical counter-samples before full production?
Yes, sample prototyping is a mandatory milestone in our
manufacturing workflow. We create full pre-production prototypes
incorporating your selected fabric, custom dyeing,
printing/embroidery, and private labeling. The sample is shipped
directly to your team for physical inspection, fit testing, and
sign-off before mass bulk cutting begins.
What branding and private labeling solutions do you support?
We offer full turn-key private label execution. This includes
high-density woven damask neck labels, heat-transfer satin care
labels, custom swing tags with barcode stickers, branded metal
or silicone zipper pulls, customized drawcords with engraved
metal aglets, and branded frosted ziplock polybags.
What fabric compositions and weights (GSM) can you source?
We work with an extensive spectrum of textiles: 100% organic and
combed cottons (180–300 GSM for tees, 360–500 GSM loopback
french terry for hoodies), circular knit 75/25 nylon-spandex
activewear fabrics, moisture-wicking micro-polyester interlocks
for sportswear, and heavy-duty 320 GSM poly-cotton ripstops for
safetywear. Custom knit fabrications and Pantone lab dip
matching are available.
What printing and embellishment methods do you offer?
Our in-house embellishment facilities include high-density 3D
puff screen printing, discharge water-based printing,
direct-to-film (DTF), direct-to-garment (DTG), all-over Italian
dye sublimation, metallic foils, silicone rubber badges, and
multi-head computerized flat and 3D foam embroidery.
How long does sampling and bulk production typically take?
Physical counter-samples generally require 7–12 business days
once tech packs and fabric selections are locked in. Bulk
production lead times generally range between 3 to 5 weeks
following sample sign-off, depending on the total order volume
and embellishment complexity.
How do you handle Quality Control (QC)?
We operate under strict AQL 2.5 quality standards across a
4-tier audit system: raw yarn & fabric inspection, in-line
stitching and tension checks, pre-packing dimensional tolerance
measurement, and post-packaging needle detection scanning.
Which countries do you ship to and what freight options are available?
We export worldwide, with primary destinations in the United
States, United Kingdom, European Union, Australia, and Canada.
We arrange door-to-door express courier shipping
(DHL/FedEx/UPS), airport-to-airport air cargo, and consolidated
LCL/FCL ocean freight forwarding with complete commercial
documentation.
How can I request a formal manufacturing quotation?
You can submit your project parameters directly through our
online quotation form
or email your tech pack files to
contact@bravaneindustry.com. Our engineering team responds with an itemized commercial
quote within 24–48 hours.
